With the old way, once a juror has been challenged, you have to put a "sticky" note in replacement for the next person that takes that seat. But, even with a sticky, you have very limited room for information. You need the the jurors information and for that, there just is not enough room. Grand Voir Dire™ does all of that and more...right on your laptop.

Managing your jurors has never been easier, and you will start to wonder how you lived without this time-saving program. When you first open the program, you are introduced to a welcome page where you select an existing case or a new case.

In creating a new file you are taken to the Case Info screen which allows you to input vital information such as the name of the case, docket number, Judge, how many Plaintiffs and Defendents for the case and more. Also, you may select the race of your client in a criminal case and Grand Voir Dire™ will alert you when there is a juror of the same race letting you know that the opposition may be trying to eliminate jurors that would be favorable to your case based on race.

Once your case information is input, you will view a simple dialog box where you can begin listing the names of the potential jurors. Adding and deleting potential jurors are as simple as a click of a mouse.

Once the names are entered into your list, you simply assign them to their jury seat with the click of the mouse. Grand Voir Dire™ allows up to thirty-six (36) boxes and are colored coded for actual jurors, alternate jurors and potential jurors. There is also a compare feature that lets you compare up to three (3) jurors at one time.
